About The Position

The Systems Engineering Intern performs operational analysis and develops concepts of operations, design plans, and implementation plans. The intern supports the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures, analyzes system requirements from end systems and users, and uses software tools and scripting for software and hardware troubleshooting.

The intern develops test plans, procedures, and cases, conducts tests, and documents results. The role also develops and delivers presentations communicating design activity plans and status to internal and external customers. The position is located in Nashville, Tennessee, and follows a 9/80 schedule: employees work 80 hours over 9 of every 14 days, with every other Friday off.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited university in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration, project management, and/or model-based systems engineering.
• Familiarity with Rhapsody.
