About The Position
Scripps Research is a nonprofit biomedical institute with a 100-year legacy of scientific discoveries. Located in La Jolla, California, the institute focuses on immunology, infectious diseases, neuroscience, heart disease, and cancer, among other areas. It houses six research departments, Nobel laureates, a top-ranked graduate school, and a leading postdoctoral training program. Scripps Research also includes the Calibr-Skaggs Institute for Innovative Medicines and Scripps Research Translational Institute, which combine foundational studies with translational science to develop new drugs and advances in digital and precision medicine. Requirements
- Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience using Microsoft Access through coursework, projects, or previous work.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and document the current Microsoft Access database.
- Assist with redesigning and improving the database structure and organization.
- Develop tools that make data management more efficient.
