This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, contribute to meaningful projects, and learn about Pratt & Whitney Aftermarket Operations. As a Summer Engineering Intern at Pratt & Whitney, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic and collaborative environment and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies and processes that are shaping the future of aviation.

Requirements

Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in engineering tools and software such as CAD, MATLAB, or similar programs.

Nice To Haves

Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Prior internship or co-op experience in the aerospace or related industries.
Knowledge of gas turbine engines or propulsion systems.
Demonstrated leadership skills through projects, extracurricular activities, or work experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Quality, to identify and resolve real-time challenges effectively.
Support ongoing engineering initiatives across the repair facility, focusing on machine industrialization, repair development, and process optimization.
Develop and refine detailed process plans that provide clear work instructions for operators while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to maintain the airworthiness of both commercial and military engine hardware.
Lead and contribute to targeted engineering projects designed to enhance repair quality, improve on-time delivery, and drive overall business profitability.
