As an Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) graduate intern, you will work alongside engineers and scientists on hardware development, payload integration & operations, laboratory & test operations, modeling & simulation, space environments, scientific research and propulsion systems for programs like Human Landing Systems, Space Launch Systems and the International Space Station! The intern shall support the MSFC Propulsion Systems Department in technical activities supporting the development and verification of rocket propulsion systems, performing design and/or structural analysis for both flight and non-flight hardware. Job duties include: Design and structural optimization. Assisting in the development and enhancement of analytical tools for structural systems using empirical and finite element-based methods. Interfacing with senior engineers to provide relevant feedback. Development and delivery of reports and presentations to management.
