Intern - Structural Engineering

We are looking for an intern to join our team who enjoys applying their skills to new challenges and working closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal team members. You will team up with people in multiple departments to help get projects from a concept to being built.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering degree program.
- Completed Junior level coursework.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside experienced engineers to apply classroom skills to real-world projects.
- Perform lateral force calculations for wind and seismic design.
- Conduct structural design of roof and floor framing members.
- Size beams and joists.
- Design foundation elements.
- Create 3D analytical models of building components.
- Gain exposure to structural detailing, including sketching engineered connection details.
- Draw in Revit or AutoCAD.
- Participate in occasional site visits or field trips to review projects in construction.
