About The Position

This internship provides hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a Minor League Baseball club and insight into the sports industry. The intern will gain experience in stadium management, event setup, and facility operations, learning how to support smooth ballpark operations.

Requirements

• Be pursuing a degree in Facility Management, Sports Management, or a related field.
• Have an interest in event management or stadium operations.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
• Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be detail-oriented and dependable.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Be comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Have a problem-solving mindset focused on safety and efficiency.
• Be willing to work outdoors and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and breakdown, including signage, seating, and vendor areas.
• Learn to coordinate with maintenance and janitorial crews to ensure stadium readiness.
• Support game-day operations such as parking, security coordination, and crowd flow.
• Help track inventory and supplies for events and maintenance.
• Gain exposure to safety protocols and compliance standards.
• Participate in meetings with stadium operations leadership to learn scheduling and logistics.
• Assist in creating a clean, safe, and fan-friendly ballpark environment.
