About The Position

The Solutions Engineering Intern will support the design, execution, integration, and optimization of business and technical solutions across enterprise value streams. This role is intended for a highly analytical and technically curious individual who is interested in systems integration, operational excellence, process improvement, and scalable solution delivery. The intern will contribute to both strategic and execution-focused initiatives by partnering with cross-functional teams to support solution implementation, data analysis, documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement activities. This position provides hands-on exposure to enterprise solution delivery, systems integration, analytics, and operational support within a regulated healthcare technology environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Technology or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Exposure to SQL, Python, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with scripting or software development.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with process mapping, workflow analysis, or systems integration concepts.
  • Interest in healthcare technology, enterprise systems, or operational transformation.
  • Understanding of Agile or project management methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end solution delivery activities for scoped initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Assist Solutions Engineers with implementation, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
  • Participate in solution design discussions across systems, workflows, and business processes.
  • Help coordinate tasks, timelines, and deliverables across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Execution ownership for contained initiatives and operational enhancements.
  • Perform data analysis, KPI tracking, and operational reporting to support value stream performance.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and metrics to measure solution effectiveness and operational outcomes.
  • Assist in identifying trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization using data-driven insights.
  • Support ad hoc analytical requests from engineering and business teams.
  • Assist with systems integration activities, workflow documentation, and process mapping.
  • Support configuration, validation, and troubleshooting activities across integrated platforms.
  • Help maintain documentation for business processes, technical workflows, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure solutions are scalable and compliant.
  • Contribute to value stream mapping and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support operational excellence initiatives through documentation, research, and process analysis.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities as needed.
  • Develop scripts, or lightweight software solutions to support operational improvements.
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend opportunities for process or system improvement.
  • Work closely with Solutions Engineers, Program Leads, Operations, IT, and Business stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings, project reviews, and cross-functional collaboration sessions.
  • Present findings, analyses, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation for assigned workstreams.
