About The Position

The Flight Control Software Engineering team within Moog's Military Aircraft Group is seeking a summer block intern. This role involves participating in the design and implementation of software for embedded aircraft control systems, contributing to key engineering tasks, and providing technical support to engineers. The intern will also offer input on project processes and strategies, operating as a multidisciplinary member of a creative team and representing Moog's technical and professional reputation.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or other related Bachelor's or Master's Degree program, at an accredited university.
  • GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department.
  • Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
  • Students within the Moog U.S. Internship Program are expected to have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and implementation of software used in embedded aircraft control systems.
  • Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
  • Provide technical support to engineers, as needed.
  • Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
  • Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
  • Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
