About The Position

This internship position focuses on participating in the development and implementation of regulatory policy related to state and/or federal regulatory proceedings in jurisdictions where Eversource operates. The intern will be actively involved in the formation, support, and implementation of regulatory initiatives. The role requires maintaining knowledge of industry trends and legislation, fostering a productive and inclusive work environment, working safely, and keeping management informed of progress and any impediments.

Zero to three years of experience
Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinates various regulatory filings in multiple state and/or federal jurisdictions
Coordinates pre-file testimony
Monitors regulatory activities of other utilities
Coordinates administrative matters
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and industry-related legislation pertinent to the business area
Fosters a productive, engaging and inclusive work environment in which open communication is encouraged and obstacles to open communication are addressed quickly.
Works safely
Keeps Manager informed of issues, impediments and progress
Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment. This means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and location.
