About The Position
This internship focuses on supporting the Real Estate, Network, and Capital Projects team within Quirch Foods. The intern will assist with various tasks related to warehouse and logistics facilities, including record maintenance, research for facility locations, tracking project timelines and budgets, preparing reports and presentations, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. The role also involves supporting analysis of warehouse capacity and operational performance, tracking lease information, and maintaining project tracking tools. The intern will contribute to 3PL and warehouse network initiatives and participate in special projects.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong interest in logistics, operations, real estate, or project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and support cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining records and documentation related to warehouse and logistics facilities.
- Support research and analysis for facility locations, warehouse operations, and logistics network planning.
- Help track project timelines, budgets, and key milestones for capital improvement projects.
- Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and project documentation for leadership review.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support ongoing facility and operational projects.
- Support analysis related to warehouse capacity, throughput, and operational performance.
- Assist with tracking lease information, property-related expenses, and vendor documentation.
- Help maintain project tracking tools, spreadsheets, and operational data reports.
- Support 3PL and warehouse network initiatives through reporting and administrative coordination.
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
