Requirements

  • Rising Junior, Senior or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, or related major.
  • Strong technical curiosity along with a passion for their work and the impact it has on saving and sustaining the lives of patients.
  • Technical writing and data review in a regulated type environment preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, adaptive to change, and collaborative
  • Actively involved in campus or community activities and organizations, preferably in leadership roles

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of creative solutions to challenging problems associated with the design of our Pharmacy and Nutrition software and device product portfolio.
  • Assigned to support R&D Pharmacy and Nutrition Product Design Owner (PDO) in developing Pharmacy and Nutrition software solutions.
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional work environment including other MPT R&D functions, regulatory, clinical, quality, manufacturing, and marketing team members.
  • Support for on-market Pharmacy and Nutrition products, providing software updates assuring that our patients can continue to receive their therapies
  • Processing data to identify and catalog compound structure information.
  • Method innovation, validation and qualification.
  • Provide weekly updates outlining progress.
  • Container Verification Testing Optimization
  • Development of an LC‑APCI‑MS Method for NVOC E&L Screening
  • Development of a liquid chromatography- atmospheric pressure chemical ionization mass spectrometry (LC-APCI-MS) method that would be utilized in an orthogonal approach for NVOC E&L screening using two different types of LCMS systems (Xevo LC-MS-Q-TOF and an LC-MS-Orbitrap).
  • PVC Flexible Infusion Container Formulation Changes
  • Protocol development, review of product requirements, execution of laboratory and manufacturing studies, and investigation of deviations or issues from the study.
  • Container system process development
  • Identify and characterize innovative technology applications to enable improved processing for new and current products.
