Intern-Project Assurance
About The Position
The Project Management department manages all the capital projects for Tallgrass including natural gas, hydrogen and ammonia transportation, and CO2 sequestration. The selected candidates will work in the Tallgrass Capital Project Assurance department. The intern’s main responsibility will be to support the Capital Project Assurance Director in the day-to-day activities associated with managing large capital project assurance. You will become part of the project assurance team. You will learn the basic tasks of running a large capital project and be exposed to the decision-making processes of project engineering and project management.
Requirements
- Students actively enrolled in an approved bachelor’s or master’s Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering program with expected graduation date of December 2026- May 2028.
- Microsoft Office expert level
- Excellent math skills

Responsibilities
- Work at a high level within a functioning project management department and support defining project execution strategies, reviewing project data and analytics, and developing tools related to detailed design and project execution.
- Review and audit third-party engineering deliverables and project management activities
- Assist in preparation of project assurance reports and ad hoc tasks as requested by the project team
