Intern - Production Assembly Operations
About The Position
This internship focuses on working with the Assembly Team at Yancey Engineered Solutions to develop trade skills and seek efficiency gains within production operations. The intern will review standardized label solutions for common unit labeling, provide feedback or improvements, and train on the production kit review process. This role involves auditing kits from the Supply Chain team to identify and eliminate missing parts before they impact production, as well as evaluating and identifying areas for improvement in the final assembly quality gate. The intern will also identify areas of repeat failures and found issues and work with the assembly team to establish processes to eliminate them.
