About The Position

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group Product Engineering team is seeking an intern to support production programs at the Design Center and Production Center. The role is onsite in the Buffalo/Elma, New York area and requires the ability to relocate for the duration of the internship. The intern will support production equipment evaluation and implementation, contribute to engineering tasks, provide technical support, and offer input on project processes, strategies, and execution. The position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Requirements

Be enrolled in an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited university.
Have a GPA of at least 3.0; the exact GPA requirement will be specified by the department.
Be able to relocate for the duration of the internship.
Have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Be able to access U.S. export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

Provide support to Military Aircraft production programs at the Design Center and Production Center.
Support evaluation and implementation of equipment needed to meet production requirements, including assembly fixtures, tools, and test equipment.
Contribute to preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog.
Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
Work as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
