Intern - Power Generation Engineering (Brunswick County Power Station)
About The Position
Dominion Energy Virginia is seeking a highly motivated Power Station Intern to support operations and maintenance activities at Brunswick Power Station. This internship provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a power generation environment while working alongside experienced professionals across multiple functional areas. The intern will assist teams in areas such as Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Electrical, Mechanical, and Technical Services. Responsibilities may include supporting equipment inspections, collecting and analyzing operational data, assisting with project research, participating in process improvement initiatives, and contributing to station reliability and performance efforts. Working under the guidance of station personnel, the intern will develop an understanding of power generation processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The intern will observe and participate in day-to-day plant activities, attend team meetings, and support projects that contribute to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the station.

- Must be working towards an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree from a 4 year college or university.
- Must have a graduation date of Spring 2028 or later.
- Must have a GPA of 2.5 or above.
Responsibilities
