The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) Physical Health & Wellness program helps warriors and their family members feel better, gain confidence, and live healthier lives. We tackle common issues like sleep, pain, and stress through our programming, empowering them to learn and practice healthy habits that promote long-term wellness. The Physical Health & Wellness Intern will assist with day-to-day functions and provide support to WWP Program teams including Physical Health & Wellness, Adaptive Sports and Soldier Ride. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization by assisting with administrative tasks, learning and developing motivational interviewing skills needed for effective coaching, assisting with the creation of engaging presentations and reports, and participating in programmatic events. The intern will gain valuable insight into multiple WWP programs and directorates through cross-functional collaboration and direct engagement with several teams.
