About The Position

The Hanover’s Internship Program provides college students with the opportunity to work on a variety of critical business assignments, test your skills, use your academic knowledge, and match your interests to a real job. Through the 10-week summer program (June – mid August), you will take on meaningful projects and work alongside some of the very best talent in the industry. You will be supported and mentored by a community of exceptional talent (leaders, managers, subject matter experts and recent graduates). You will participate in a cross-functional team building project focused on corporate philanthropy, attend weekly development workshops with your intern peers, and join in engagement and social activities with other interns. We recruit highly skilled students for potential future full-time employment opportunities, upon graduation. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or advanced degree program
  • Understands & demonstrates the importance of developing and maintaining cooperative relationships at all levels of the organization, despite differing perspectives.
  • Possesses some level of knowledge within the discipline supported
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to commit to a full time 10-week internship program
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret performance measures with business manager
  • In partnership with manager, determines process performance requirements and appropriate measures.
  • Supports manager to ensure that the effectiveness and efficiency of the process are improved.
  • Assist in conflict resolution.
  • Works with the manager to ensure people and skill requirements of the process are met.
  • Conduct research around process performance reports inside and outside the industry to inform the Process Leads.
  • Works with manager to understand financial impact, skill set requirements, and legal and compliance issues for a process.
