About The Position

Richemont is a global leader in the luxury sector, comprising various Houses specializing in jewelry, watches, and high-end accessories. Richemont Americas is committed to reflecting the ever-changing world and values diversity, inclusion, and creativity. This Summer internship program offers students the chance to gain firsthand experience and contribute to daily operations and projects within the luxury sector. The Intern, People Operations & Payroll will join the HR Operations & Analytics function, supporting the first-year hyper care period following the implementation of Global HCM and Payroll & Time Workday modules. This role provides administrative and operational support, focusing on data entry, payroll controls, system reporting, systems governance, and employee lifecycle management.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college program, pursuing a degree.
  • Technologically proficient with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • An innovative and proactive thinker, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative team player, eager to contribute, empower others, and achieve collective success.
  • Highly energetic and enthusiastic about supporting diverse projects and initiatives.
  • Available to commit to a full-time schedule throughout the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program from June 1st to August 7th.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States. International students must possess a current work visa; Richemont North America does not sponsor work visas for summer internships.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Immerse in the functional aspects of HR processes, particularly as they relate to Workday platforms (Global HCM, Payroll & Time).
  • Contribute to the creation, update, and organization of critical documentation.
  • Ensure all employee paperwork is completed accurately and uploaded to the digital file system.
  • Collaborate extensively with various internal stakeholders across different departments.
  • Perform HR administrative tasks, including employment verifications, system updates, payroll system maintenance, ad-hoc reporting, and responding to general employee inquiries.
  • Assist with routine operational audits, follow-up actions, and system data clean-up initiatives.
  • Support system training and communication efforts for HR teams and employees.
