About The Position

This internship offers exposure to transaction evaluation and screening, and the intern will contribute to weekly market intelligence and deal activity reporting. The role involves tracking and analyzing sponsor, borrower, and deal activity using Excel trackers and dashboards, as well as researching private equity firms, borrowers, investment banks, and industry sectors to prepare meeting materials and relationship coverage plans. A final project will be presented to senior members of the firm at the conclusion of the program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's students in a quantitative field, including Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Applied Math and Statistics are preferred
• 2 years of financial coursework preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Demonstrable passion for financial markets
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills since interaction with senior level management will be required

Responsibilities

• Contribute to weekly market intelligence and deal activity reporting
