About The Position

Dominion Energy is seeking a summer intern to gain utility knowledge in the Dominion Energy South Carolina Transmission Operations Center. This position is located in Cayce, South Carolina. Duties include outage planning and analysis of electric transmission system facilities, preparing and maintaining operator displays, supporting operator training, supporting various control room projects, and supporting Renewable Operations.

Requirements

• Must have strong computer knowledge and skills with demonstrated ability to learn and utilize AutoCAD, GIS and Microsoft Office products
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Be able to work independently and as a team
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned work location and have reliable transportation
• Must be able to move about freely and perform field work
• Must be able to travel and work outside of normal business hours through the company territory
• Currently enrolled in an ABET Accredited Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• GPA of 2.5 or above
• Graduation date of 2028 or later
