About The Position

The Medical Intern at an RCA facility is responsible for the provision of medically assisted treatment and limited primary care to patients with substance abuse disorder, including short term chronic disease management, medication assisted treatment, and pain management within the facility. The Medical Intern is responsible for providing quality, sufficient and appropriate services and for maintaining high professional standards. It is the responsibility of this position to model and maintain high professional conduct and standards among all medical area staff and consultants.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled and in good standing with an accredited School of Nursing.
• An affiliation agreement must be on file with RCA prior to intern start date.

Responsibilities

• Provision of medically assisted treatment and limited primary care to patients with substance abuse disorder.

• Medication assisted treatment.
