About The Position

We are seeking interns to join our Mechanical Systems teams in developing the next generation of spacecraft systems. As an intern with our team, your responsibilities may include contributing to CAD and/or thermal model design, contributing to structural, CAD, and/or thermal analytical modeling, contributing to the drafting, planning, and execution of various mechanical and/or thermal tests, and working with a team to post-process the test data and compare the results to analytical predictions.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar degree
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • US Citizenship status is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in MATLAB (or another high level language)
  • Experience in PTC Creo (or an equivalent CAD system)
  • Experience in thermal desktop modeling software

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to CAD and/or thermal model design.
