About The Position

In this role, you will help develop future generations of E Ink products for new applications in emerging markets.  You will be directly involved in hands-on research building and testing devices with potential to work on glass lamination process development as well as heat management of E Ink system.  This position will require someone who is creative and eager to learn as well as a good communicator.

Requirements

  • 2+ years education in a BS program in chemical engineering, chemistry, physical science or related fields
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Practical experience in a wet chemistry laboratory setting
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Curiosity and a desire to understand and solve problems
  • Committed to following safe laboratory practices

Nice To Haves

  • Desire to build things and understand how they work
  • Interest and/or experience with building functional devices
  • Knowledge of statistical tools such as JMP

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize lamination processes
  • Electro-optical properties measurement
  • Develop and evaluate interlayer materials and barrier films for durability and performance
  • Troubleshoot lamination defects such as bubbles, delamination, haze, and optical distortion
  • Communicate data analysis findings effectively and share summaries and conclusions with team members
