Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution or high school
  • Recognized for their attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn and a willingness to be coached
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced level of English proficiency, as the individual will be required to communicate verbally and in writing with English-speaking colleagues and internal partners across Canada on a daily basis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update client portfolios within the Portfolio System through the accurate creation, modification, and administration of new and existing accounts, ensuring strong attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Review client accounts and portfolios to ensure alignment with Investment Policy Statements and established firm policies, identifying discrepancies and exercising critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address exceptions.
  • Monitor a shared team inbox, prioritizing competing requests, coordinating task delegation, and ensuring all inquiries are addressed accurately and within established service levels.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain portfolio records by resolving outstanding issues, including orphan accounts, inactive and closed accounts, advisor changes, and advisor code updates, while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with a variety of operational and administrative initiatives, including data compilation, testing and comparison reporting, and maintenance of portfolio manager records, demonstrating strong analytical and technical skills.
