Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program
  • Rising junior or senior at the time of the internship
  • Available to work 40 hours per week, onsite five days a week
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Solid time‑management and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Curious, coachable, and eager to learn, ask questions, and apply feedback
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality, accurate work
  • Professional, dependable, and accountable with strong follow‑through
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or Google Workspace

Responsibilities

  • Research federal and state regulations applicable to life and annuity insurance distribution (state insurance laws, NAIC model regulations, federal requirements)
  • Identify SOX-relevant control domains for a pre-IPO insurance distribution company
  • Map regulatory requirements to internal control categories: entity-level controls, process controls, and IT General Controls
  • Collaborate with Cybersecurity to map ITGC requirements (access management, change management, data integrity, operations) to applicable regulations and frameworks
  • Research industry frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST) and document how they align with Integrity's control environment
  • Develop a regulatory mapping matrix that can be used for ongoing compliance monitoring and audit preparation
  • Present findings and recommendations to ERM and Cybersecurity leadership
