Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program
Rising junior or senior at the time of the internship
Available to work 40 hours per week, onsite five days a week
Strong written communication and documentation skills
Solid time‑management and organizational abilities
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Curious, coachable, and eager to learn, ask questions, and apply feedback
High attention to detail with a commitment to quality, accurate work
Professional, dependable, and accountable with strong follow‑through
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or Google Workspace

Responsibilities

Research federal and state regulations applicable to life and annuity insurance distribution (state insurance laws, NAIC model regulations, federal requirements)
Identify SOX-relevant control domains for a pre-IPO insurance distribution company
Map regulatory requirements to internal control categories: entity-level controls, process controls, and IT General Controls
Collaborate with Cybersecurity to map ITGC requirements (access management, change management, data integrity, operations) to applicable regulations and frameworks
Research industry frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST) and document how they align with Integrity's control environment
Develop a regulatory mapping matrix that can be used for ongoing compliance monitoring and audit preparation
Present findings and recommendations to ERM and Cybersecurity leadership
