About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join their team. This role involves shadowing laboratory professionals to learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations. The intern will assist with non-testing laboratory tasks such as specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation. They will also participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision, and support approved laboratory projects. The intern will be expected to follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures. This is an 11-week paid internship program designed to provide hands-on work experience that complements academic backgrounds, offering exposure to Labcorp's global business, culture, and leadership through enterprise-wide learning experiences, leadership visibility, an immersive intern event, senior leader speaker sessions, and networking opportunities. The program also includes learning resources, professional development sessions, and engagement with employee resource groups and community initiatives, along with dedicated mentoring.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program

  • Rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
