Intern - Lab
About The Position
Labcorp is seeking a Lab Intern to join their team. This role involves shadowing laboratory professionals to learn diagnostic workflows, instrumentation, and department operations. The intern will assist with non-testing tasks like specimen organization, inventory, and workspace preparation. They will also participate in approved mock testing, demonstrations, and basic laboratory techniques under supervision, support approved laboratory projects, and follow all safety and compliance standard operating procedures. This is part of Labcorp's 2027 Global Internship Program, an 11-week paid internship focused on impactful projects and real-world experience. The program offers enterprise-wide learning, leadership exposure, an in-person intern event, senior leader speaker sessions, networking opportunities, learning resources, engagement with employee resource groups, and dedicated mentoring.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a Chemical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology Bachelor’s degree program
- Interest in laboratory science
- Interest in diagnostics industry
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures
- Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts
- Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision
- Maintain professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

- Rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program
