About The Position

This position assists in the development and implementation of programs and projects to support the organization's strategic initiatives. The role involves gathering and analyzing data, running pre-defined queries, formatting reports, and compiling presentation materials for projects and new initiatives. The intern will attend weekly group development sessions and actively participate in all NCH intern events. They will apply strategic, system-level thinking and operational excellence techniques for problem solving, perform clerical office coordination and administrative tasks as needed, and collaborate directly with the manager to provide recommendations for department or business unit improvement. A valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance are required by hospital policy, along with passing a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and maintaining qualification of insurance guidelines.

Requirements

  • Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy.
  • Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
  • Enrollment in High School or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work within teams and maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management and completion of multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and ability to apply logical and critical thought processes when developing solutions.
  • Displays a positive presence and interacts with all levels of staff, outside vendors, consultants, and physicians.
