About The Position

This IS Intern position assists in the development and implementation of programs and projects to support the organization's strategic initiatives. The role involves gathering and analyzing data, running pre-defined queries, and formatting reports as appropriate. The intern will also compile and build presentation materials to support projects, showcase new initiatives, and report data findings. Active participation in weekly group development sessions and all NCH intern events is required. The intern is expected to apply strategic, system-level thinking and operational excellence techniques for problem solving. Some clerical office coordination and administrative tasks may be performed as needed. The intern will collaborate directly with their manager and provide recommendations to improve the department or business unit. Requirements

  • Enrollment in High School or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work within teams and maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment that often requires management and completion of multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and ability to apply logical and critical thought processes when developing solutions.
  • Displays a positive presence and interacts with all levels of staff, outside vendors, consultants, and physicians.
