About The Position

The Opportunity is for an internship role in the Capital Markets department, specifically on the Private Credit team, from January to April 2027. This role offers an engaging work experience where interns can apply analytical skills and passion for markets at a leading investment firm, experiencing the dynamic nature of the trading floor. The private credit team focuses on direct credit investments globally, assisting the deal team in evaluating opportunistic credit investments across the capital structure and monitoring existing portfolio investments.   • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Must be enrolled in a 3rd / 4th year or related Masters’ program.
  • Must be enrolled in a co-op program or returning back to studies after the work term is completed.
  • Legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the ongoing performance of the portfolio.
  • Support reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with junior members of the deal team to conduct investment analysis.
  • Develop investment theses, including memos to be presented to the underwriting committee.
  • Participate in a term-length portfolio management case to develop and test investment skills, nurture interest in capital markets, and help assess interest in risk-taking.
  • Attend networking and lunch-and-learn sessions to explore the work of other groups.
