About The Position

Encova Insurance is seeking an Intern, Internal Audit for their Columbus, Ohio corporate office. This is a full-time summer internship for summer 2027, requiring at least 40 hours per week. The start and end dates are flexible based on availability and business needs. Interns will have the option to work a hybrid schedule, with some days in the office each week. The program is recognized as a RISE Elite Top 50 internship program. Interns will be part of a dynamic, results-driven team, managing real-world situations alongside Encova associates, gaining a wide range of learning possibilities within the insurance industry.

Requirements

Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least 60 credit hours with an accredited college or university.
Actively enrolled and pursuing a degree in accounting (preferred). Will consider business administration, finance, public administration, or a related field with an accounting minor.
Discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Initiative and desire to learn.
Ability to multi-task with good organizational skills.
Must be detailed oriented.
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.
Good communication skills.
Ability to “think outside the box”.
Must reside and work within specific U.S. states: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin.
