About The Position

This internship position focuses on supporting the setup, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test. The role involves assisting in the design, development, and implementation of testing and troubleshooting procedures for various system components. Responsibilities include developing test plans, procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, and test case design. The intern will also document testing issues, analyze test results, support formal systems acceptance testing, and present test strategies and results. Additionally, the role supports failure investigation activities and failure review board meetings.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field at an accredited university.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of communications systems, software programming languages, automated software test, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanical design and analysis.
Requirements analysis and verification.
Software scripting.
Usage of automated testing frameworks and applications.

Responsibilities

Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices.
Support design, development, and implementation of cost-effective procedures for testing and troubleshooting of components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and systems.
Support development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation.
Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results.
Support formal systems acceptance testing activities.
Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers.
Support failure investigation activities and failure review board (FRB) meetings.
