As an Integration Engineer Intern, you'll play an essential role in ensuring seamless software and infrastructure integration, working with AI-enabled tools and machine learning pipelines that enhance network performance and reliability. You'll collaborate on projects leveraging artificial intelligence to optimize system efficiency, improve predictive maintenance, and enable smarter decision-making across our network infrastructure. Requirements
- Experience with software deployment, including installation, configuration, and testing
- Solid understanding of IP networking principles and protocols
- Familiarity with deployment in virtual/cloud environments like OpenStack, OpenShift, or Kubernetes
- Proficiency in tools for CI/CD, automation, AI, DevOps, and agile workflows
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for teamwork in customer projects
- 2.7+ GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
- Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, or Master’s, on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the internship
- Majors in Computer Science, IT, Telecom, or other technical fields
- Be available to work 40 hours per week during the summer or Co-Op term
Responsibilities
- Plan, deploy, and integrate software products within Cloud Infrastructure environments
- Innovate with automation and AI to improve configurations, installations, migrations, and testing
- Prepare documentation, troubleshoot issues, identify defects, and implement fixes
- Dive into scripting and occasional coding to optimize solutions
- Build and test in Ericsson labs, customer labs, and production environments
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to drive product and process improvements
