About The Position

As the Human Resources Intern at LogistiQ, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions within the organization including but not limited to recruiting, training, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration and compliance.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with internal teams, vendors, stakeholders & community leaders.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization & employees.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and HRIS system.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Successful completion of 90-day probationary period.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in developing, facilitating, and implementing all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with Management, Human Resources Manager, and Department Managers to identify, determine, and create accurate job descriptions and the hiring criteria, if required.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews, overseeing preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager, the Hiring Manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Assists in representing the organization in community industry human resources, safety & health groups, and programs.
  • Acts as the liaison from HR to Payroll for timekeeping assistance and issues
  • Other duties as assigned
