About The Position

Looking for an intern for our Finance team, reporting to the Controller. As a summer intern in Finance, you will work closely with all budget owners to help with forecasting, spend control, and financial reporting and analysis for our Beverage business. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, "roll-up their sleeves", and works well with others. The Finance team is expected to help team leaders manage their respective budgets, build efficient and effective processes, and is an insightful analyst at improving business operations and results.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of college credit with a focus in finance, accounting, management, or general business
• Proficiency in financial software applications & tools; specifically, Excel with SAP Business One knowledge a plus.
• Basic/Working knowledge of Financial Statements and accounting impacts of transactions
• A self-starter who takes initiative and works independently to deliver results in a high-pressure environment
• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands on capacity on a variety of projects

Responsibilities

• Improve annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting and long-range planning
• Support all functional teams in managing their financial results
• Monitor and report spending trends providing variance analysis and insightful commentary
• Develop, implement, and improve operational metrics and analyses of key financial metrics
• Continuous review of reporting and process with dedication to ensure reporting is both relevant and produced efficiently
• Development of insightful financial and operational dashboards
