About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Project Management Intern to join our Finance Team located in Burlington, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. This is an 11-week paid internship program designed for students to gain real-world experience in project management within a global healthcare organization. The intern will support an internal process improvement project focused on enhancing efficiency and existing workflows, collaborating with team members and stakeholders, and documenting project activities. The program offers enterprise-wide learning experiences, leadership exposure, networking opportunities, and dedicated mentoring.

Requirements

Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program.
Working towards a degree in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to organize and support project-related activities.
Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment.

Nice To Haves

Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program.

Responsibilities

Support an internal process improvement project focused on improving efficiency and existing workflows.
Assist with project planning, organization, and coordination activities.
Review existing processes and workflows to identify potential opportunities for improvement.
Support documentation of project activities, processes, and findings.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to support project objectives.
Assist with preparing project materials and communicating project updates and findings.
