An Internal Audit Intern at Swire Coca-Cola evaluates the effectiveness of key business processes, risks, and internal controls across the organization. They recommend process improvements by working with key business leaders to identify solutions and write audit reports to clearly communicate audit results to key business leaders.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting with a graduation date of August 2027 or later
  • Ability to travel to an audit site for a week at a time, possibly twice during the internship
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to write clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work with others in inconsistent environments and while traveling
  • Available to work full-time for the duration of the summer (May – August 2027)
  • Must not require sponsorship to legally work in the U.S. (i.e., H-1B, TN, OPT, CPT, O-1, E-3, or any other work visas), now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Assist in pre-work and execution of internal audits, including evaluating risks and controls, performing audit testing, and writing conclusions and action plan recommendations in an audit report
  • Analyze audit and operational data to identify noncompliance with policies, weak or non-existent controls and ineffective or non-functioning controls.
  • Communicate audit and risk findings to audit manager and document the findings in a formal written audit report.
  • Review existing control effectiveness and recommend opportunities to improve the control environment.
