About The Position

The Intern, Finance Analytics position requires a creative problem solver to develop automated solutions for a global organization. Responsibilities include analysis, development, support, implementation, and scaling of dashboard development in a high paced enterprise environment.

Pursuing education in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Math, Physics, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience in gathering business requirements and translating to technical details.
Knowledge of SQL and data analysis and experience with at least one programming language (Python preferred).
Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence.
Conceptual knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data.
Experience working with data pipelines as they relate to a front-end BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
Demonstrated experience managing exceptions and providing support in fast-paced transaction processing environments.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with BI Engineer and Stakeholders to understand BI needs, gather business requirements, and deliver analytic data products.
Develop and maintain data quality checks to prevent incomplete/inaccurate data and ensure timeliness and consistency.
Produce and maintain data architecture and end-to-end pipelines that adhere to data engineering principles and business goals.
Create and deliver technical and project documentation as required using Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.
Participates in investigation and remediation of issues as required.
Challenges the status quo, favoring simple and highly impactful solutions.
