About The Position

Our Corporate Accounting & Finance Department is looking for a driven Finance Data Analytics Intern. This position can be located at the Corporate Offices either in Onalaska, WI or DeForest, WI. The intern will be responsible for pulling data from our general ledger and other Kwik Trip systems in order to provide real-time data driven analysis and insight into income and expense accounts across the enterprise. The person will work with all levels of management and non-management co-workers to analyze data to improve corporate profitability.

Requirements

• Currently attending school for Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics
• Possess strong data analysis skills
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret numbers
• Accurate and detail orientated
• Possess strong customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks and meet department deadlines
• Possess strong organizational skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work well alone and as a team

Responsibilities

• Design, enhance, and maintain measurement tools, KPI’s, dashboards, and reports
• Gather, translate, and deliver technical information to stakeholders
• Research, identify, and analyze income and expense data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Develop efficient methods of data collection
