About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Diagnostics Research Assays Intern to join our Research and Development Team in Calabasas, CA! This is an 11-week paid internship where you’ll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives. The Diagnostic Research Intern will support the development, optimization, evaluation, and validation of diagnostic assays in a CLIA-certified laboratory environment. Working under the supervision of a Research Associate or Scientist, the intern will gain hands-on experience in assay development, analytical testing, data analysis, and laboratory operations. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of innovative diagnostic tests. As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree program in Biology, Chemistry, Life Science, or Pre-Medicine track
  • Interest in chemistry, biology, and lab related research
  • Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts
  • Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future
