About The Position
The Design Engineering Intern will provide additional support to Design Engineers by assisting with Engineering Change Requests and converting legacy drawings. The role offers experience in design engineering at a valve manufacturer, insight into the importance of design in a manufacturing environment, and an opportunity to apply engineering learning and practices. This is a year-round opportunity.
Requirements
- Be in the process of completing the second year of a full-time (or equivalent) BEng or MEng in IMechE-accredited Mechanical Engineering or a degree with a Mechanical Engineering bias.
- Be familiar with 3D design tools such as Solid Works.
- Be fluent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
