Intern - Design Engineering

About The Position
The intern will provide additional bandwidth for Design Engineers by assisting with Engineering Change Requests and converting legacy drawings. The role offers experience in design engineering at a valve manufacturer and exposure to the importance of the design function in a manufacturing environment. The intern will also have the opportunity to apply learning and practices studied in their degree program. This is a year-round opportunity.
Requirements
- Be in the process of completing the second year of a full-time or equivalent BEng or MEng degree in IMechE-accredited Mechanical Engineering or a degree with a Mechanical Engineering bias.
- Be familiar with 3D design tools such as Solid Works.
- Be fluent in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
