About The Position
Waukesha County's Department of Public Works, Facilities Management Division, is seeking a student in the architectural, engineering or closely-related field to collect and enter information into the County's automated facility management system, verify architectural, electrical and mechanical systems, and prepare or update building AutoCAD drawings.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an architectural, engineering, or closely-related field post-high school degree program (i.e., Associate, Bachelor, Master).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of various buildings related software systems.
- A basic understanding of buildings, construction and related systems.
- Ability to read, create, and have an understanding of architectural systems and blueprints.
- Ability to locate information on current buildings and equipment.
- Reliable and dependable.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and other staff.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
