About The Position
As a Data Science Intern on Micron Technology’s Engineering team, you will contribute to artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives that enhance product development and optimization. You will work on real-world projects in a collaborative environment and have opportunities to learn and grow with mentorship from industry experts. The estimated US base salary for this full-time position is $36.55–$55.82 per hour. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, and equity. Pay within the range depends on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of predictive modeling, statistics, regression analysis, and deep learning through coursework.
- Proficiency in programming languages or frameworks such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or R.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice To Haves
- Experience developing and deploying data science solutions, including data engineering, ML algorithms, UI/UX, and ML Ops.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and performance evaluation.
- Understanding of agentic AI systems for autonomous workflows and task orchestration.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify domain challenges and develop advanced data analysis methods.
