About The Position

The Customer Operations Intern will report to the Manager, Performance and Subscription Management. The Customer Operations Team is responsible for Customer Management, Origination, Billing , and Utility coordination workflows, as well as maintaining a best-in-class experience for our tens of thousands of residential and commercial customers for Distributed Generation Solar projects in operation. This position is part of the 10-week Summer Internship Program at Clearway Energy Group beginning in June 2026. We are looking for first-year students in a graduate program in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field. Throughout this summer internship program, you’ll get exposure to real projects and challenges while gaining first-hand professional experience. At Clearway, you’ll gain access to an innovative and fast-paced work environment. You’ll also participate in networking and learning events with your fellow intern cohort. Our hybrid policy is that e mployees are in-office on Tuesdays & Thursdays.   • The Customer Ops Intern will be assigned to an individual project and will present results to the team and leadership at the end of the internship on August 4 th .

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in Business Operations, Consulting, Finance, or Sales.
  • Prior exposure to advance analytics reporting tools like Power BI.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sensitivity analysis on key performance metrics to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for improvement throughout customer lifecycle
  • Collaborate with internal sales and digital product teams to identify process improvement opportunities and implementation of customer-related initiatives
  • The Customer Operations Intern will be assigned to an individual project and will present results to leadership at the end of the summer.
