About The Position

Power Factors is seeking a Corporate Strategy Intern to take on critical, high-impact work that will directly inform our growth strategy in the US Energy Management System (EMS) market. This is a hands-on role — you’ll own three substantial workstreams from start to finish, working closely with the Corporate Strategy team to build a market sizing model, a customer landscape, and a competitive analysis that will shape real strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities • Build a bottoms-up TAM model in Excel sizing the US EMS market — including market segmentation, key growth drivers, and a forward-looking outlook. • Conduct primary and secondary market research on EMS customers and competitors to build a detailed, fact-based view of the landscape. • Use S&P data to develop a detailed customer analysis — segmenting buyers by type, size, and need to inform Power Factors’ commercial strategy. • Map the competitive landscape in depth — documenting competitor capabilities, positioning, and gaps to inform product strategy. • Synthesize findings into a polished executive presentation with clear strategic recommendations. • Collaborate with the Corporate Strategy team throughout — sharing progress, pressure-testing assumptions, and refining outputs based on feedback. Deliverables • TAM model (Excel) — bottoms-up US EMS market sizing • Customer analysis (Excel/PowerPoint) • Competitor analysis (Excel/PowerPoint) • Final executive presentation (PowerPoint)
