About The Position

Dream is looking for an Intern, Corporate Accounting for an 8-month term, starting in September 2026. This role will provide a strong supporting function to the Corporate Accounting team. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus on Finance, Business, or Accounting, and possesses a desire to pursue an accounting designation. We are seeking a motivated individual who is diligent, detail-oriented, driven to learn, and committed to their personal and professional development. Requirements

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with a focus on Finance, Business, or Accounting
Desire to pursue an accounting designation
Diligent and detail-oriented when preparing deliverables
Driven to continuously learn from experiences and seek out feedback and development opportunities
Ability to work hard and smart to meet demands at key times of pressure
Demonstrated commitment to personal learning with a desire to pursue an accounting designation

Responsibilities

Assist in quarterly financial reporting and regulatory compliance
Assist with reporting to internal stakeholders
Assist with preparing routine journal entries and performance of bank reconciliations as part of the monthly and quarterly corporate accounting close process
Assist with filling out Statistics Canada surveys
Assist management with ad hoc and special projects as needed
