As a Summer 2027 Intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a professional business environment while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience within our Consumer Category Management team. Throughout the internship, you will work on real business initiatives, collaborate with team members and leaders, develop professional skills, and contribute to projects that support Cencora's purpose of creating healthier futures. This internship is designed for students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing coursework in a business-related field, including marketing, management, finance, accounting, or supply chain.
  • Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred
  • Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks, tracking activity, and documentation accurately.
  • Interest in category management, supplier relationships, and business operations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and business partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in customer-facing fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support new item ordering and tracking activities.
  • Create, request, and track return authorizations.
  • Request GNP product images for reporting agencies.
  • Track contract status and support related administrative follow-up.
  • Partner with a lead Category Manager to learn the category review process.
  • Attend supplier meetings to gain exposure to category management activities.
  • Assist in creating category review documents and supporting materials.
