The CPS Energy Internship Program is designed to meet the industry’s rapidly changing workforce needs by providing college students an opportunity to be paired with a mentor to acquire meaningful hands-on experiences that expands their understanding of the industry and exposes them to essential skills they must acquire or develop to succeed. The Federal and State Relations team is seeking an intern. The intern’s responsibilities will primarily involve assisting the team in activities related to preparing our state legislative agenda and executing to it during the 90 th Regular Legislative Session in 2027. The intern will gain knowledge of and experience in CPS Energy’s major initiatives and public policy priorities, as well as the legislative process. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in written and verbal communication, time management, and organization.
