About The Position

This intern/co-op position assists with delivering high-quality instruction and facilitating learning experiences in a specific subject area. The intern collaborates with other instructors and business partners to revise, develop, and implement curriculum, assessments, and instructional materials. The position partners with Corporate Safety to design and deliver Health, Safety, and Environmental courses, prepares classroom activities and training sessions, and maintains and audits training materials, equipment, and learning spaces. This is a hybrid virtual/onsite position with required onsite days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The position may be assigned to any Consumers Energy Service Center throughout Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. The selected candidate must live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate; relocation assistance is available for those who qualify. The position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship, including H-1B or TN sponsorship, and cannot hire individuals using CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT.

Requirements

Currently enrolled and actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Able to communicate clearly and professionally.
A confident and professional public speaker.
